Rachel Douglas
Project Manager, Maternal & Newborn Health
Rachel Douglas (she/her) is the Project Manager for two MNH projects in South Sudan and Somalia which utilizing community-based solutions to deliver last-mile services. Although now based in London, Rachel has worked across east and southern Africa in her eight years supporting SRH projects. She's been responsible for significant and diverse portfolios of funding, including leading SRH service delivery for rural women and adolescent girls under a USAID-funded contract in Malawi and heading up the proposal and subsequent inception period of a SRH and GBV focused FCDO consortium in Tanzania. Rachel holds a MSc in the Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice from SOAS University, where she focused her studies on gender and justice, and a BA degree in Politics from the University of Leeds.
