Karim brings 18 years of experience as an engineer, operator, and investor across African markets. As Managing Director of InSight54, he supports and advises several clients on strategy, fundraising, blended finance transactions and post-investment support. As former Investment Director at Acumen, he led a $25M East Africa portfolio and launched a $10M EdTech fund. At Grand Challenges Canada, he led its first Development Impact Bond in Cameroon. He serves on the boards of several African ventures.
