Martin is the Grants & Budget Manger based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is experienced in managing complex projects within the humanitarian, global health & other development/humanitarian sectors, having worked with USAID, UN Agencies (UNDP/FAO/UNFPA/OHCHR/WFP), EU/ECHO, DANIDA, Private Foundations, Foreign & Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), Global Affairs Canada, Bureau of Population, Refugees & Migration (BPRM), Global Fund and Irish Aid. Martin has an MBA in International Business Administration from the University of Nairobi and a Master's in Project Management from University of Africa in Zambia. He also holds diplomas in Planning & Management of Development Projects and Financial Management & Budgeting of Donor Projects, certifications in Grants Management, Compliance Management from University of Cape Town, Project Finance Analysis and Project Management from Cambridge University and in Strategic Management & Leadership. Outside of his professional life, Martin enjoys reading autobiographies of world leaders and how they have shaped policies that impact on different facets of life. He is very passionate about nature and environmental conservation.
