Marie Pauline Stege (she/her) is the Behavioural Insights Associate at the Airbel impact Lab focusing on climate resilience.
Marie’s background lies at the intersection of Behavioural Science and International Development in the global south, specifically focusing on environmental impact and gender equality. She gained experience in this field through working in varied international organizations such as the German Development Agency (GIZ) where she evaluated the environmental and social impact of implemented development programs on indigenous communities in Ecuador. She also worked with Ashoka Latin America, PWC, and UNESCO Mexico, concentrating on environmental protection and social inclusion, with a special focus on women, indigenous peoples, and individuals with disabilities.
Marie holds a Master of Behavioral Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where her research focused on encouraging pro-environmental behaviour and gender equality. She further holds a Bachelor in Emerging Markets (combining the fields of Economics, Business, Politics and International Development) from the University of Maastricht.
