
Marian Haji-Mohamed
Director of Finance & Operations
Marian Haji-Mohamed is the Director of Finance & Operations for the Airbel Impact Lab, where she oversees all finance, grants, and operations functions across a broad portfolio of innovative humanitarian projects. Drawing on 10+ years of expertise in finance, operations, and strategic leadership in nonprofit and international contexts, she ensures effective financial stewardship, rigorous grants management, and streamlined processes to advance Airbel’s mission.
Prior to joining Airbel, Marian served as Director of Administration and Finance at Global TIES for Children, an international research center at New York University (NYU), where she played a pivotal role in building the Center’s administrative infrastructure and scaling it from a small team to a staff of more than forty, conducting research across more than ten countries. Marian has also held impactful roles at NYU Stern, NYU Steinhardt, and the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development—further refining her ability to create sustainable structures and deliver results in complex, global environments.
Marian holds a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from Georgetown University and an MPA from NYU Wagner, with a focus on International Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy. She is deeply committed to leveraging her expertise to strengthen the Airbel Impact Lab’s efforts to develop transformative, evidence-based solutions for communities in crisis worldwide.
