Katherine Rodrigues is the Airbel Impact Lab’s interim Deputy Director of Strategy & Quality. Her research explores the application of behavioral insights to improve humanitarian prevention and response efforts, focusing on child protection and the impact of cash relief in crisis-affected contexts. She holds a Masters in Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University. Before joining the IRC, she worked as a researcher at Columbia University. In this role, she led qualitative research for mixed-methods randomized controlled trials investigating the impact cash transfers in Liberia and Ethiopia. Prior to this, Katherine conducted research in early childhood development and women’s reproductive health with vulnerable populations at Child Trends, a non-profit research organization.
