Justin Labeille

Director of Economic Evaluation & Research

Justin Labeille leads the Best Use of Resources team. Prior to joining the IRC, Justin directed cost-effectiveness evaluations of climate and public health interventions at Giving Green and GiveWell, respectively. While at community health organization Living Goods, he oversaw its research portfolio and led its expansion into Burkina Faso. Justin has also held various global positions at Innovations for Poverty Action and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where he managed labor markets, financial inclusion, education, health, and conflict projects to generate and/or increase the use of evidence. Justin received his M.A. in Economics from the University of Auckland, and dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina. In his spare time, Justin enjoys rhyming and climbing.
