Jeanette Bailey

Jeanette Bailey is the Director of Nutrition Research and Innovation at the IRC. She was the Principal Investigator on the Combined Protocol for Acute Malnutrition Study (ComPAS), an RCT that tested a simplified and combined approach to treating SAM and MAM. Prior to joining the IRC, Jeanette worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres, Save the Children, and Action Against Hunger in multiple countries in Africa, Asia, and South America. She holds a PhD and a MSc in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). She teaches nutrition as an adjunct assistant professor at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
