Grant Gordon

Grant Gordon is the Director of Innovation Strategy at the International Rescue Committee, where he manages a portfolio of innovation projects and drives the organization’s innovation strategy. Prior to joining the IRC, he worked at the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations, the UN Office of Humanitarian Coordination, as well as for a set of humanitarian NGOs. Grant has worked and lived in the Great Lakes Region of Africa, West Africa, Somalia and Haiti. He holds a Ph.D. in political economy from Columbia University, speaks French, is not too shabby at Swahili, and loves doing triathlons.
