Derrick is the Priority Interventions Analyst at Airbel Impact Lab where he specializes in providing research, and technical assistance to priority interventions such as malnutrition. He focuses on cost analysis to support the cost-effectiveness of programs and interventions, ensuring that BUR contributes to Airbel's and IRC's strategic Phase 2 initiatives.

Derrick holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science with a major in Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. With a diverse background spanning both technical and non-technical roles in data analytics, Derrick brings valuable experience to his work.

Prior to joining the IRC, he conducted various analyses, including cost-efficiency evaluations and scenario modeling to optimize warehouse operations. His analysis helped streamline logistics costing, reduce costs and increase overall supply chain efficiency in the private sector. In his spare time, Derrick enjoys traveling, researching, reading and writing about emerging trends in data analytics and technology.
