Derek Lee is a Best Use of Resources Advisor, Nutrition at the IRC. He currently leads the cost research portfolio for Airbel Impact Lab’s nutrition GRIP and supports other cost and scenario modeling projects within the IRC. Prior to joining the IRC, Derek worked for the Mennonite Central Committee as their United Nations delegate and was a Graduate Fellow for the Cash & Markets team within Catholic Relief Services’ Humanitarian Response Department. Derek has a Master’s of Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame where he specialized in sustainable development. He has also worked in the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Uganda, and is passionate about elevating grassroots voices and solutions.
