Darin Kingston is Director of Strategy & Delivery for the Airbel Impact Lab, where she supports the Chief Research & Innovation Officer and drives a portfolio of cross-functional projects to ensure progress on Airbel’s strategic objectives. Darin brings to this work a 15+ year track record in helping mission driven innovators – from organizations spanning both non- and for-profit models to individual philanthropists and social entrepreneurs – level-up their impact through new ventures, capabilities, and directions.

Prior to her most recent consulting practice, Darin spent 8 years at the Global Development Incubator, serving as the inaugural Managing Director. There, she shepherded several new organizations through their start-up phases, providing the management and operating structures needed to evolve from idea to 7+ figure annual budget and double digit headcount, and played an instrumental role in GDI’s growth trajectory. Before GDI, she created and led new program design and impact assessment capabilities at organizations ranging from the pioneering solar energy business d.light to the IRC (in a previous role with the Economic Recovery & Development Technical Unit).

Darin has served on the Standards Advisory Council at B Lab for nearly 10 years (playing an active role in shaping the requirements for a company to get B Corp Certified) and is on the board of JobsFirstNYC (a NYC-based workforce development organization serving young New Yorkers). Darin holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s from Brown University.
