Catherine Lee

Health Researcher

Catherine is the Health Research Lead at Airbel Impact Lab and the Health Technical Unit of the International Rescue Committee. She leads on the development and fulfillment of the Outcomes-based Research and Learning Agenda and provides technical lead for research studies in the Health Unit spanning from antimicrobial resistance, to infection prevention control, to non-communicable diseases, and mental health. Prior to joining the IRC, Catherine led the development and research of community-based public health programs for displaced populations in Burma/Myanmar alongside ethnic health departments in her role as research faculty at Johns Hopkins University, followed by ten years of applied research on mental health and psychosocial support interventions for children and adults in conflict-affected and humanitarian settings. She holds a MPH from The University of Michigan and a PhD in International Health from Johns Hopkins University.
