Camilla Fabbri

Child Protection Researcher

Camilla is a Child Protection Researcher at the International Rescue Committee where she leads research on the prevention and response to violence against children, child trafficking and exploitation, and the protection of children on the move.   She previously worked as part of the Child Protection Research Group at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where she currently holds an Honorary Assistant Professor position. She led several studies assessing the effectiveness of school-based violence prevention interventions in refugee and crisis settings as well as research on child health, human trafficking, and gender-based violence. Beforehand she held research positions with several organizations including the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, Innovations for Poverty Action and BRAC. Camilla received her PhD in Public Health and Policy and an MSc and BS in Economics and Social Sciences.
