EQUAL Project Deputy Director

Aimee is the Project Deputy Director for the FCDO-funded, IRC-led “EQUAL” MNH research consortium. In her role, she oversees Contract Management, Partnerships, Financial Management and Operations for the EQUAL consortium. She has 10 years of experience of securing funding for and managing institutional donor-funded projects in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. Her previous roles at the IRC include being a Senior Contracts Specialist, a Senior Programme Development Advisor (Business Development), and a Senior Advisor for FCDO Strategic Partnerships – all within IRC’s Awards Management Unit and all with a focus on FCDO contracts. Before joining the IRC, Aimee worked at Plan International in their UK Commercial Contracts Unit, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) as a Project & Operations Manager for a large multi-country FCDO-funded climate change research programme, and at Crown Agents as Project Manager for a FCDO-funded humanitarian fund management programme in Myanmar. Aimee started her career working for DFID (now FCDO) in their Procurement and Commercial Department. Aimee completed her Master’s degree in Conflict, Security & Development at King’s College London, UK, and her Bachelor’s degree in History & French at University College London, UK.
